2023 WRFL ROOKIE ME SENIOR FINALS SERIES – VENUES UPDATED

The AFL have confirmed venue arrangements for the 2023 VFL Finals Series, with the highest-ranked team having the option to host their lead-up finals including Preliminary Final.

Due to Werribee Football Clubs involvement in VFL finals and the uncertainty surrounding the availability of Avalon Airport Oval, there are venue changes to the WRFL Rookie Me Senior Finals Series for this year.

As a long-standing partner of the Western Region Football League, we wish Werribee Football Club the best of luck through their finals campaign.

The Western Region Football League is pleased to re-announce the 2023 WRFL Rookie Me Senior Finals Series Venues.

The TIV Division 1 and Under 18 Division 1 Grand Finals will be played at Avalon Airport Oval on September 17.

All lead-up finals for the above competitions will be played at Yarraville Oval.

The Division 2, Victoria University Polytechnic Senior Women’s Division 1 and 2 Grand Finals will be played at Yarraville Oval on September 10.

The Rookie Me Division 3 and Under 18 Division 2 Grand Finals will be played also at Yarraville Oval on September 16.

Division 2 and Rookie Me Division 3 lead-up finals will be played at Hansen Reserve (North Footscray FC) and Pennell Reserve (Braybrook FC).

The Senior Women’s lead-up finals will be played at Saltwater Reserve (Point Cook FC), Laverton Park (Laverton FC), Hansen Reserve (North Footscray FC) and Pennell Reserve (Braybrook FC).
