FROM THE COACH

TEAM STRENGTH/S: Never give up attitude and team first attitude.

TONY JOFRE SAYS: Preseason has been positive and consistent for numbers with education and progress continuing in the right direction off an improved and more competitive 2023 season. Our goal for 2024 is to play the best brand of footy possible, consistently, and challenge to overcome each hurdle faced in the 2024 season. In the last two seasons we have lost to all but one Division 3 club by more than 150 points and to some by 300 points. Narrowing those margins would be a big achievement for the club in 2024 and winning more consistently is the goal. Against last year’s Division 2 clubs our goal is to be as competitive as possible and continue to gain respect from our peers. In my first match as Laverton senior coach (Round 1, 2022) we played Braybrook and that day we lost by over 30 goals. It will be nice to see how much improvement our club has made.
