WFNL CONFIRMS TEAM FOR ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Western Football Netball League is preparing an assault on the Netball Victoria Association Championships later this month.
The WFNL will contest the open age competition for the fourth time when it takes to the court at the State Netball Centre on Sunday 29th June.
Glen Orden’s Rebecca Hicks who successfully led the WFNL to victory over the Southern Football Netball League in its first ever Interleague match-up in May, will again coach the league’s representative team.
She will be supported by specialists coaches Manawa Aranui and Rhiannon Reti and team manager Samantha Pruscino.
Seven members of this year’s Interleague squad have been included in the team for the Association Championships.
A new rule means no current Victoria Netball League are eligible to participate in the Association Championships this year.
The Netball Victoria Association Championships will be held on Sunday 29th June at the State Netball Centre in Parkville.
