WOMEN & GIRLS FOOTBALL WORKSHOP SET FOR JUNE 23
As part of our continued commitment to the growth and development of Women and Girls football the Western Football Netball League will hold the first Women & Girls Football Growth Strategic Workshop of 2025 on Monday 23rd June at Chirnsides by the River, Werribee.
The WFNL will embark on the development of a Women and Girls Football Growth Strategy with the help of former AFL legend, Western Bulldogs AFLW Coach and now leadership consultant Nathan Burke who will facilitate the upcoming workshop.
This project will offer the WFNL and our Member Clubs the opportunity to thoroughly review our current situation and to develop a plan to address any areas of decline that will see an increase in club and team numbers from 2026 onwards.
The Women & Girls Football Growth Strategic Workshop is open to Club administrators, Coaches, Players, and all invested stakeholders, and we strongly encourage your attendance and participation.
Key points of discussions will include strategies, opportunities, and actions to further strengthen and support Women and Girls football in the west.
Register now to attend the workshop and be part of shaping the future of the game for our league. Please note that places may be limited, so we encourage early registration to secure your spot.
