FROM THE COACH – Justin Abrams

How has the preseason been for the group?
It’s been very positive. Challenging and educational for the group. With such a young group it’s been about education, standards, behaviours and understanding of what is required to play at this level.

Have there been any standout moments or highlights from preseason?
Preseason camp in Geelong. It was a fantastic opportunity for the group to physically and mentally be challenged and work through some adversity.

What style of play can we expect to see this season?
We’re going to play exciting, fast and contested.

What will define a successful season in 2026?
We want to be a competitive team that is hard to play against. We are looking for improvement from all our young players. To drive standards, competitiveness, and show improvement. There’s an opportunity for our current group to grow and set new cultures and behaviours long term.
