KADOUR RE-APPOINTED

Ziggy Kadour will coach Newport for a fourth season in 2022, with the club announcing his re-appointment overnight.

Kadour will be joined by assistant Josh Russo for the Division 2 season.

Newport finished in fourth place in 2021, winning six games.

Newport has also announced Reserves coach Faisal Taleb will continue on next season as will his assistant George Abboud.

Under 18’s coach Midhat Bey has also been re-appointed after their inaugural season. Karl Souki has been announced as his assistant coach.

“We wish all our coaches the best of luck and look forward to an exciting season in 2022,” the announcement said.

The club’s pre-season training is set to begin on January 31, 2022.
