VAN BLOMMESTEIN NOMINATED FOR NETBALL AWARD

Congratulations to Point Cook Centrals Sharks player and coach Kelly Van Blommestein, who has been announced as a finalist in the Netball Victoria Community Awards.

Van Blommestein (pictured left) is one of five people named as a finalist in the Volunteer of the Year Award.

The awards recognise the efforts and contribution to Netball across Victoria.

“Our Victorian netball family is driven by the love and passion of every member, and the Awards are a fantastic way to highlight the lasting impact our members make each year,” the announcement said.

Van Blommestein is a player, coach and netball coordinator at the Sharks and this year also participated in the Association Championships, representing the WRFL.

The winners will be announced on December 1. The event will be broadcast live on the Netball Victoria Facebook page from 7pm.
