The Lakers showcased six individual goal kickers, with Stephanie Thompson starring for her side. Eagle Claire Rollinson celebrated a huge milestone, playing her 150th game, producing a best-on-ground performance to mark the occasion.
Spotswood continued their dominance over the Division 1 competition — locking in a 72-point victory over hosts Point Cook Centrals. Shark Sarah Daw played a valiant game and was named best on for her side, whilst Spotswood recognised the efforts of Emma Kiely and Jacinta Reid, the latter adding 3 goals to the scoreboard for the Wolves.

Tui Huta was dangerous inside 50, kicking 3 majors, and was well-supported around the ground by teammate Isabel Choate.
West Footscray played host to suburban rivals Braybrook in a physical match-up, overcoming excellent tackling pressure from the Brookers to lock in a 98-point victory. Sarah Jamieson was a standout in defence for the Brookers, whilst Jemma Hay was prolific in the Roosters forward 50, adding five majors to her tally and jumping to the top of the Division 2 Leading Goal Kicker ladder.
To round out the weekend, North Sunshine hosted Point Cook, with the visitors unfazed by the icy conditions to lock in a 68-point win. Bulldog Emily Laidlaw was a major contributor, kicking 4, whilst teammate Ebony Hoffman was named as best for her side.
