BANDEL TO LEAD REPRESENTIVE NETBALL TEAM
The Western Football Netball League is pleased to announce Chris Bandel as its new Netball Victoria Association Championships coach.
Bandel is well known in netball circles and across the league after coaching Caroline Springs in their inaugural year, with the Lakers quickly flourishing under his guidance.
He assumes the role with exceptional on-court knowledge along with numerous accolades as an umpire, and an impressive reputation as a former netball player.
WFNL Netball Operations Coordinator Jordan Dalliston said the league was delighted to appoint Bandel.
“Beyond his technical expertise, Chris is known for his ability to build rapport with players, leveraging their strengths and providing opportunity for growth,” she said.
“Chris also demonstrates a keen eye for talent and an innovative coaching approach.”
Bandel replaces Nicole Case & Samantha Pruscino with the league wishing to thank the pair for their commitment to the role over the previous two seasons.
Trials for the WFNL Association Championships team take place at the Whitten Oval courts this Sunday with the final team to be announced in May.
The Netball Victoria Association Championships will be held on Sunday 16th June at the State Netball Centre in Parkville.
