PLAYERS OF THE MONTH – JULY

Altona vice-captain Luke Whatman has been named the TIV Division 1 Men’s Player of the Month and Yarraville Seddon’s Ruby Cashmore the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee Senior Women’s Player of the Month for July.

Last month Cashmore earned best on ground honours for Yarraville Seddon in two games as well as being one of the top performers in her side’s upset of current league leader Werribee Centrals.

Whatman had a brilliant month averaging 24 disposals including nine intercept possessions, eight marks and four tackles per game, while being named in the best players in crucial wins over top three sides Yarraville Seddon and Werribee Districts.
