BULLDOGS REACH 60K MEMBERSHIP MILESTONE

For the first time in history, the Western Bulldogs have surpassed 60,000 members.

The milestone has been reached as the Club breaks its membership record for a third consecutive year, powered by the unwavering dedication and support of the red, white and blue army.

Bulldogs fans have turned out in their thousands throughout the 2024 campaign, highlighted by two crowds exceeding 45,000, including the biggest attendance of any game in the past decade at Marvel Stadium, against Essendon in Round 5 (50,144).

In a year full of highlights, the Club reached 50,000 and 55,000 members in record time, while welcoming an allegiance of new fans to Mission Whitten Oval.

The Club’s spiritual home of Mission Whitten Oval has been transformed into a world-class sporting facility, with donations totalling more than $1m during a recent Giving Day further emphasising the generosity of the Bulldogs community. Every dollar raised will go towards closing the funding gap for the redevelopment, allowing the Club to invest fully in footy.

Club President Kylie Watson-Wheeler expressed her gratitude to Bulldogs fans for their unprecedented support in 2024.

“Exceeding 60,000 members for the first time is a historic milestone for the Bulldogs and one of several remarkable events in recent weeks that point to a bright future for the red, white and blue,” Watson-Wheeler said.

“With the redevelopment of Mission Whitten Oval now complete and so much excitement around our footy programs, this is a special time to be on this journey with us as a member of the Bulldog faithful.

“On behalf of the Club I would like to thank all of our members and fans for their unwavering support. Their commitment and belief inspires everything we do.”

With the Bulldogs’ AFLW campaign beginning in just 25 days and a potential AFL finals series around the corner, there is still time to join the amazing red, white and blue journey.
