GLEN ORDEN CAPS NETBALL SEASON WITH TOP GRADE PREMIERSHIPS

The WFNL Senior Netball season ended with Glen Orden collecting its fourth and fifth premierships with the Hawks winning Division 1 and Division 2 Grand Finals to come away with a remarkable five premierships in 2024.

After claiming three premierships on the first Grand Final night a week earlier with triumphs in Divisions 3, Division 5 and Division 6, the Hawks had the chance to add two more trophies to an already impressive haul when they lined up in the Division 1 and 2 deciders last Friday (September 13).

Facing Yarraville Seddon Gold in the Division 2 Grand Final, it appeared the Eagles might deny the Hawks a fourth flag, but in a thrilling and incredible finish Glen Orden would score after time had expired to claim a single-goal victory.

After reaching the Division 1 Grand Final without a loss Glen Orden took one Spotswood Gold for the premiership cup and after basically leading all night the Hawks were able to cap a perfect season with a five-goal win.
