2025 DIVISION 1 & DIVISION 2 FIXTURES

The Western Football Netball League is pleased to confirm its 2025 TIV Divison 1 and Division 2 fixtures with both senior men’s competitions set to commence on Saturday 5th April next year.

The opening round match-ups will see 2024 premiers Hoppers Crossing begin the new TIV Division 1 season away to Altona, while runner-up Werribee Districts plays host to Point Cook.

As the competition expands to feature 12 teams in 2025, newly crowned Divison 2 premiers Sunshine start their camapign at home against previous winners Parkside, while 2024 runner-up Albion will travel to Point Cook Centrals to face the Sharks.

In their first ever Division 1 season Newport will welcome Spotswood to Angel Homes Oval (Langshaw Reserve) in Round 1.

In Division 2 the most intriguing Round 1 match-up will take place at Goddard Street Reserve with Suns hosting fellow 2024 finalist and neighbouring rivals Wyndhamvale.

After a two-year hiatus Glen Orden is fixtured to make its return away to Braybrook at Pennell Reserve. One of Tarneit or North Sunshine will have a great opportunity to start their season with a win when they face-off at the Titans’ Wootten Road Reserve.

Both competitions will pause for Easter and then resume for Round 3 with four matches on Anzac Day and a further eight the following day on Saturday 26th April.

With the return of senior interleague in 2025 there will be league-wide bye in TIV Division 1 on Saturday 17th May. Meanwhile, there will be no football during the King’s Birthday Long Weekend with players from both senior men’s grades getting a week off.

The top five teams will qualify for finals with both finals series to be played over four weeks. The Division 2 Grand Final will take place on Saturday 13th September with the TIV Division 1 decider occurring on Saturday 20th September.
