PLAYERS OF THE MONTH – AUGUST

The Players of the Month for August in the TIV Division 1 Senior Men’s and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee Senior Women’s competitions are Bruno Laguda of Parkside and Werribee Centrals’ Jessica Spall.

Gun midfielder Laguda was incredibly consistent in his first season for Parkside and continued to star over the final month of campaign as the Magpies won three of their last four games to finish the season sixth on the ladder. In August, Laguda averaged 33 disposals, 9 score involvements and 141 ranking points per outing.

Werribee Centrals star Spall finished off 2025 in fine form with strong showings in the final three home and away rounds and was one of the standouts in her side’s Elimination Final loss to Grand Finalists Yarraville Seddon. She was also the leading goal kicker for the Centurions in August tallying 10 majors across four matches.
