FROM THE COACH – Brad Julier
How has the preseason been for the group?
We had a great preseason with strong numbers. We have some good recruits and had a good practice match phase against some good opposition.
What have been the main areas of focus during preseason training?
Our focus has been on skill development.
Who are the players helping drive standards within the group?
The whole group has been good at driving standards. Travis Varcoe has been terrific and taken on a leadership role and with a very young group has helped fast track their development.
What will define a successful season in 2026?
We’ve had five years of improvement and we’re hoping for improvement again this year. That would mean making a grand final and hopefully winning a premiership. It will be a very even competition again, so we need to make sure the team is ready to play every week.
