BHP COACH OF THE YEAR AWARD

The inaugural BHP Community Coach of the Year Award recognises the outstanding performance and contribution community coaches make to progressing women’s football and shaping their local community.

The award aims to highlight innovative leadership, participation and engagement initiatives of community coaches, that promote inclusion and diversity both within and outside their clubs.

The award can be given to any current community level coach, from Junior and Youth Girls through to Senior Women’s football, who has a current Coach.AFL accreditation and demonstrated exceptional support of women’s football and gender equality.

The winner will receive:

• Two VIP invitations to the prestigious AFLW Awards in 2021, with flights and accommodation (if required)
• A clinic/mentoring session at the recipient’s club with AFLW players
• Recognition of the award featured on the AFLW website and social media channels

Nominations close on September 25, 2020 at 5pm.
