BRAYBROOK APPOINT BALSHAW
Braybrook have appointed experienced coach Lloyd Balshaw as their Senior Women’s Coach.
The Brookers announced the appointment on Tuesday, with the club saying they are looking forward to welcoming him to their family.
“We are thrilled to have Lloydy on board. Our girls are ready to take that next step in 2021 and with an experienced and talented coach we will give them every opportunity to do so,” the statement said.
Balshaw coached Albion’s Senior Men’s team in 2019. He also coached the Cats’ Reserves team the previous year.
“Prior to his time at the Cats, Lloydy coached a number of Senior Women’s Football teams such as St Albans Spurs, Deer Park and St Kilda Sharks,” the announcement noted.
“Along the journey Lloydy has coached senior Women’s premierships (in VWFL) and also been involved league representatives sides coaching and as a selector.”
Last year, Braybrook finished the Victoria University Polytechnic Senior Women’s season in 10th place, winning five games.
