CACHIA HAS UNFINISHED BUSINESS

The Wyndham Suns have re-signed playing-coach Dean Cachia for the 2022 Alan Mance Motors Division 3 Season.

“Dean is keen to commit to next year and sees the reappointment as an opportunity to tend to ‘unfinished business’, after two years of frustration and uncertainty,” the Suns announcement said.

“Dean is keen to hit formal pre-season training as playing coach with the determination that has delivered recent success, and is excited to enter that journey with an excited and reinvigorated team.

“The Committee and broader Suns community congratulate Dean Cachia on his re-appointment and wish him well for season 2022.”

The Suns finished the 2021 season as the minor premiers.

Cachia was also the Leading Goal Kicker in the Division 3 Senior competition, kicking 51 goals.
