Albanvale has handed Tarneit a 95-point loss at Robert Bruce Oval in the Alan Mance Motors Division 3 competition.
The Cobras had the ascendency from the opening bounce, slotting seven goals to none in the opening quarter.
Albanvale’s dominance continued throughout the middle quarters, while both sides shared three goals apiece in the last.
The win sees Albanvale remain undefeated after eight rounds of footy.
Liam Montrose was superb for the Cobras in a best on ground outing with eight goals.
Darren Borg nailed four of his own, and Reece Duffield was another standout contributor.
Zach Thornton and Thomas Cordier impressed for the visitors.
Tarneit will play the Dragons next week, who are coming off the bye, while Albanvale will look to maintain their dominance when they take on Laverton.
The Magpies struggled at the hands of Braybrook, losing by 193-points.
Caiden Vorano was fantastic for the victors, while Shaun Buttigieg-Clarke kicked 10 goals alongside Nicholas Papakalodoukas and Ricky Howell who both managed five.
For Laverton, Ryan Dorling was judged best afield, and Soni Rainbow booted two goals.
The Brookers face a big challenge next week, as they are set to face the Suns.
The Suns were too strong for North Sunshine, winning by 96-points.
Josh Foster, Paul Tomelty and Blake Jago were among the outstanding performers for the Suns, combining with Luke Cachia who enjoyed a five-goal game.
