E.J. WHITTEN FOUNDATION’S MEN’S HEALTH ROUND

This Saturday all WRFL senior players in Divisions 1, 2 and 3 will be wearing the E.J. Whitten Foundation arm tape to represent the 20,000 Australian men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year.

All senior teams playing in the E.J. Whitten Foundation’s Men’s Health Round will be presented with a best on ground medal.

A player from each team will be picked by their coach as the recipient of the medal.

A representative from the E.J. Whitten Foundation will be at three games, one in each division, to present these medals.

As proud partners of the E.J. Whitten Foundation, who continue to raise awareness for men’s health, we encourage everyone to get behind the “Time to Test” campaign.

The key messages of ‘Time to Test’ are:

  • Talk to someone about their health
  • See your GP for a general check up
  • Take positive steps to improve your health, get active

Whether it be mental or physical, the men’s health round is a reminder to look after yourself and your mates and start a conversation a about men’s health.
