EAGLES GET ON THE BOARD

The Yarraville Seddon Eagles scored their first win for the season, beating Laverton by 21-points on Sunday.
The Eagles had four individual goal-kickers, Samantha Eldridge, Deborah Jecks, Jessica Martin and Tia Crofton all scored goals in the win.
The Eagles were also strong in defence, not conciding goal to the Magpies until the third term, keeping them to just one behind in the first half.
Caroline Springs defeated the winless North Sunshine by 106-points. A six-goal opening quarter set the tone for the Lakers, who went on to kick another nine goals for the match.
There were seven individual goal-kickers for the Lakers, Krystyn Raymundo kicked five goals, leading the charge, while Caitlin Pretty kicked three.
Spotswood were again able to shut down the opposition, not allowing West Footscray to even get a taste, while they had 35 scoring opportunities of their own.
Caitlin Brennan proved impossible to stop, kicking seven goals.
Werribee Centrals scored a win over Braybrook, winning by 78 points. A five-goal-to-one opening term gave them a confidence boost early, as they never looked back after that.
Larissa Renaut was outstanding, kicking eight goals for Werribee Centrals, and Samantha Kloet kicked three.
Manor Lakes continued their run of big wins, defeating Tarneit by 165 points, conceding just the one behind for the whole game.
The Storm boasted 11 individual goal-kickers, but it was Kellee McIntosh who was unstoppable, kicking eight.
