ELLIS IS PERFECT FIT FOR LAKERS

Former Caroline Springs president Dean Ellis has been appointed the Lakers’ Senior Women’s Coach for the 2021 season.

Ellis has long been associated with the club, having been involved with several different roles throughout his time at Caroline Springs.

He will take over from Colin Clohesy, who has coached the Lakers to two consecutive Victoria University Polytechnic Senior Women’s Grand Final appearances.

“Dean comes with a wealth of experience having coached both at a senior and junior level at Caroline Springs and Albanvale Football Club’s,” the statement said.

“Bottle that up with his passion for the Women’s program and intimate knowledge of the Lakers Values and Culture we’re trying to create, we see him as a perfect fit to lead the continued development of our senior team.”
