JUNIORS RECOGNISED AT AWARDS NIGHT
More than 570 people attended the WRFL’s Junior Presentation Night last night, the pinnacle of the Junior season.
Held at Encore Events Centre in Hoppers Crossing, the event was a chance for administrators, coaches, players and family members to reflect on the 2019 season as well as recognise the best of the west.
Several awards were handed out on the night, please see below a list of all award winners:
2019 North Melbourne FC Shinboner of the Year: Point Cook Football Club
2019 Junior Club Official of the Year: Melissa Salih (Caroline Springs)
2019 Junior Club of the Year: St Albans Football Club
2019 AFCA Junior Coach of the Year: Nando Adorno (Point Cook Football Club)
2019 AFCA Youth Coach of the Year: Rich Morrow (Flemington Juniors Football Club)
2019 Best Interleague Players:
- Under 13A: Taaj Assafiri (Newport Power Juniors Football Club)
- Under 13B: Xavier Kardachi (Sunshine Football Club)
- 14 Division 1: Isaac Kaddour (Yarraville Seddon Eagles Football Club)
- 14 Division 2: Jake Smith (Williamstown Juniors Football Club)
