Friday night of Round 2 of the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee Senior Women’s competition saw Werribee Centrals outclass a green West Footscray outfit recording a 154-point win over last year’s Division 2 premiers.

The Centurion offensive was led by sharpshooters Larissa Renaut and Kyleisha Kinces who booted five and four goals respectively, while for the Roosters’ debutant Ash Carey was steadfast for her side.

Centrals look set to continue their winning ways when the host North Sunshine in another Friday night clash in Round 3, while Wyndhamvale will be West Footscray’s next opponent.

Wyndhamvale took on Caroline Springs in the first of three Saturday morning games, with the match seeing the Lakers overcome the Falcons by 93-points.

Jacinta Kondis continued her form in front of goal bagging five majors, and was well supported by Kyah Tessari who also featured in the best.

Next up for Caroline Springs is a home outing against Yarraville Seddon this weekend.

Spurs will now enjoy a week off before taking on Laverton in a fortnight.

To round out the weekend, Laverton travelled to Yarraville Oval to take on the Eagles where the home side claimed victory by 135 points.

For the visiting Magpies Magan Ristic-Keena and Ashleigh Pearson stood tall under plenty of pressure.
