MURRELL NAMED WARRIORS COACH

Hoppers Crossing has appointed Glenn Murrell coach of its Senior Women’s team for the 2023 Victoria University Polytechnic competition.

Murrell takes over from Kerry Saunders, who coached the Warriors this year.

“Glenn has been heavily involved with the club for over 30 years and also a former Senior Best and Fairest winner,” the announcement said.

“Having been involved with the women’s team since it’s inception as an assistant under our first two coaches.”

Hoppers Crossing ended the Division 1 season in sixth place.
