NINE FROM NINE FOR FLEMINGTON JUNIORS

Flemington Juniors have made it nine wins without a defeat, clinching victory over the Bulldogs in the Under 18’s Division 2 Competition.
In the first quarter, the Bulldogs dominated the ladder-leaders having multiple shots at goal to lead at the first change.
A high-flying mark and goal from Sebastian Isolani inspired Flemington Juniors, snatching the lead from the Bulldogs to go into half-time five points ahead.
The team motto of ‘work rate’ was reinforced by Flemington Juniors at half-time with a rejuvenated attitude kicking against the wind. Countless chase-down tackles from Hussein Abdi led Flemington Juniors to maintain their buffer before the final break.
In the final quarter, the Bulldogs fought back hard with the wind, however Flemington Juniors were too strong prevailing by 16-points. Louis Hoppe was best on ground.
In other matches, Tarneit hosted the Saints at Wootten Road Reserve. The Saints narrowly secured another four premiership points winning by 17-points.
The final game of Round 13 was played between Werribee Districts and Hoppers Crossing at Keogh Homes Reserve. Four goals from Jack Gigas and Lachlan Caserta secured Werribee Districts their fifth win of the season by 141-points.
In Round 14, the Bulldogs host Tarneit at Saltwater Reserve, the Saints play Newport at Kings Park Reserve, while Werribee Districts play Flemington Juniors at Keogh Homes Reserve.
Hoppers Crossing have a bye.
