POSITION: HEAD OF UMPIRING

The Western Region Football League (WRFL) invites applications for the role of Head of Umpiring position.

The Head of Umpiring works in conjunction with the CEO and General Manager – Operations to oversee Umpire recruitment, administration and development for the WRFL.

The Head of Umpiring assumes overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the WRFL Umpiring Program including policies, procedures and manuals, while managing the Umpiring budget in consultation with the General Manager – Operations.

The successful applicant is expected to engage in coaching, as well as establish and maintain appropriate Umpire administration and management practices including recruitment, development and retention of Umpires within an organised Umpire group.

This is planned as a full-time role, with the flexibility to be part time if desired.
