RAAK, CLIFFORD PICKED FOR VIC METRO

Congratulations to Cody Raak (Caroline Springs) and Sam Clifford (Hoppers Crossing) on their selection in the Vic Metro Under 19 team for the upcoming National Championships.

Raak and Clifford have both played for the Western Jets in the NAB League this year, with Raak also making his VFL debut with Footscray.

The talented duo were picked in the final list of 23 players for the national carnival.

The championships were fixtured to begin next week at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast, however all games are set to be rescheduled due to the growing COVID-19 restrictions across the country.

Point Cook young gun Cameron Kizan was also named in the Vic Metro Under 17 team. He played in their first game at the weekend.
