SUNS BREAK COBRAS WINNING RUN

The Suns have handed Albanvale their first loss of the season, prevailing by 64-points at Robert Bruce Oval in the Alan Mance Motors Division 3 competition.
It was tight early, with the Suns holding a slender one-point lead at the first break.
From there, the Suns thrusted into some fine football to take control of the game.
Christopher Lear was best on ground for the victors, with Blake Jago (five goals) and Paul Tomelty (four goals) doing the scoreboard damage.
Jarrod Vella was also in superb goal-kicking form, nailing three of his own.
On the other hand, Joel Rattya and Brendan Cassar were fantastic for the Cobras.
The Cobras have the bye next week, while the Suns will come up against a red-hot Sunshine Heights outfit.

The Dragons have won back-to-back games, defeating North Sunshine by 93-points.
Nicholas Mallia enjoyed six goals for the winners alongside Kyall Parker who booted five.
James Vella and Nathan Tabb put in outstanding performances for the Dragons, while Rabih Rachrache was judged best afield for the visitors.
North Sunshine move to play Braybrook next week.
The Brookers are back on the winners list after a 70-point triumph over Tarneit.
James Grubb and goal-kicking machine Shaun Buttigieg-Clarke (six goals) were among the standout players for Braybrook.
Johny Ho and Sean Mciver were also incredibly influential in the Brookers strong performance.
Luke Price and Zachary Gillard were terrific in a losing side.
Tarneit will look to bounce back against Laverton next week.
