TAC ROAD SAFETY ROUND 21-23 JULY
This weekend is TAC and AFL Victoria Road Safety Round, 21-23 July.
The TAC’s Road Safety Round is a coordinated state-wide fixtured round of football for all Victoria clubs – from the grassroots to the elite level – held for the fourth time in 2023.
This TAC Road Safety Round, we will call on the community to ‘Band Together’ once again, uniting all participants across the state with blue armbands to wear.
The round will engage approximately 1,000 clubs, with players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters wearing the blue armband to honour every life lost on the roads, and act as a reminder that we all have someone to drive safely for – whatever our clubs colours might be.
MORE INFORMATION: www.tac.vic.gov.au/bandtogether
We encourage clubs to hand out armbands to volunteers, parents, spectators, local workers and the entire community. On them is a QR code housing the reasons why road safety matters to different Victorians.
We all have someone to drive safely for. Wear your band, scan the code, and share your story on social media to help make our roads a safer place.
