On a perfect day with pristine conditions at Hogans Road Reserve, Tarneit claimed their first four points of the Under 18 Division 2 season, defeating Hoppers Crossing by 80-points.
In the first term, Tarneit had nine scoring shots to one as they took a 23-point lead at the first change.
In the third quarter, Tarneit took charge kicking seven unanswered goals increasing the lead to 70-points at the final change.
The final term was closely fought, with one goal kicked between the two sides, however it was the performance of Tarneit young gun Yusuf Kailie that inspired the win. He kicked four goals in the victory.
For Hoppers Crossing, Riley Cox was among the best.
Werribee Districts handed St Albans their first loss of the season, with Werribee Districts winning by 19-points.
Caleb Sciberras-Harris was awarded best on ground honours. Luca Cannizzaro also played well, kicking three goals.
The final game of Round 4 was a top of the table clash between unbeaten sides Point Cook and Flemington Juniors. Flemington Juniors continued their winning ways, fresh off the bye defeating Point Cook by seven-points.
Noah Hopman kicked two goals in a best on ground showing for Flemington Juniors.
In Round 5, Werribee Districts host Newport. Point Cook will play Hoppers Crossing, and Tarneit will go head-to-head with Flemington Juniors. St Albans have a bye.
