TITANS LEAD, SUNS DROP TO THIRD

The Wyndham Suns have dropped three of their past four games and now sit in third place on the Division 3 ladder.
The Suns were red-hot in the early stages of the season, having gone undefeated over the first 12 weeks, however have since hit a significant road block.
Last week they were sitting in first place, and after their loss to Point Cook Centrals at the weekend are now third, behind the Titans and Sharks.
The Sharks defeated the Suns by 12-points.
In the close encounter an even spread of goal kickers from Point Cook Centrals helped get the job done, with Dean Henderson and Kurt Mayne among the best for the Sharks.
Wyndham will hope to bounce back against an in-form Sunshine Heights, as the Suns aim to arrest control of their season on the eve of finals.
Sunshine Heights continued their blistering form, with a 60-point win over Glen Orden. The Hawks battled all day, but the game was won by the Dragons in a first quarter eruption where they kicked eight goals to zero.

Glen Orden fought back in the second term, with Ashley Burke giving his all along with Patrick Hynes, but Sunshine Heights were electric when given time and space.
Dalton Tonkin and Justin Zahra starred, whilst James Ciarlo and Matt Gauci dominated up forward, with the Dragons’ speed a devastating weapon. Glen Orden continued to battle and never gave up, but were ultimately outclassed by Sunshine Heights.
Elsewhere, Braybrook rebounded from their poor form with a strong 106-point win over North Sunshine, with Paul Cutajar-Milosev kicking 6 goals and Andrew Scimone also impressing.
The Roadrunners will hope to rebound against Glen Orden, while Braybrook take on Laverton.
In Tarneit, the Titans continued their scorching form as of late, storming to a 97-point win over Laverton, with John Zangari kicking 6 goals in a dominant display.
The win put them into first place on the ladder, and will next battle second-placed Point Cook Centrals. It promises to be an epic clash with serious repercussions for the finals race.
