TRAINERS NEED TO REGISTER FOR 2022

As the 2022 season approaches, the WRFL wishes to advise that all trainers are required to re-register with the league annually before you can officiate in any game.

Registrations for Trainers will open January 17th 2022.

How to register:

  • Complete the 2022 Trainer registration form
  • Provide a copy of your current ERC (Emergency Response Coordinator) Accreditation OR Level 1 Sports Trainer Certificate
  • Provide a copy of your current First Aid Accreditation (Level 2 First Aid HLTAID011) & valid CPR Certificate

Both documents listed above must expire after April 3rd 2022 to be successfully registered as a trainer.

  • Provide evidence of your Working with Children’s Check (voluntary card is accepted)
  • Provide a copy of your COVID-19 Infection Control Training Certificate
  • Provide a coloured headshot photo of yourself in JPEG format (this photo will be on your trainer card for 2022)

Send the above documents to j.chester@wrfl.asn.au

Please note – a trainer registration will not be accepted nor processed without all the above elements presented at the time of registration.

WRFL Trainer card

Following WRFL approval of your registration you will be issued with a trainer’s card valid for the 2022 season, which you’ll need to carry on you at all times on a Game Day.

On the Registration form Trainers can opt for either a Mobile Version or a Hard copy trainers’ card.

If you choose hard copy, you will receive an email once it’s been printed and available to be picked up from the WRFL Office. In the event a hard copy replacement card is required a $5.00 fee per card will be applied.

Please allow at least 24 hours for the registration to be processed and both the digital & hard copy versions to be finalised. During peak times please allow up to 72 hours.

What are the next steps?

If you are a WRFL trainer and you haven’t completed an ERC course to date, then you will need to attend and complete an ERC course in order to be an eligible trainer for the upcoming season and beyond.

A current First Aid Level 2 certificate must be provided during enrolment for the ERC.
