WARRIORS CHARGE TO VICTORY

Hoppers Crossing cruised to a 73 point against Sunshine on the back of a blistering five goal to zero opening term, keeping them in fourth place on the ladder, two points away from top spot.
The Warriors were on fire from the opening bounce on both sides of the ball, conceding just one behind in the first quarter and one goal total in the first half.
The Kangaroos were no match for the finals bound Warriors, who ran out 17.17. (119) to 7.4. (46) victors.
Braden Ferrari was the main target up forward for Hoppers Crossing, he bagged five goals. Aaron Williams also kicked four goals in the big win.
Deer Park have again showed their class, defeating St Albans by 62 points at Kings Park Reserve.
The ladder-leaders are peaking at the right time of the season, who since their loss to Hoppers Crossing back in Round 11, have stepped up a gear, having won by 62 points, 90 points, 136 points and 62 points in the past four weeks.
Their percentage sits at 216.7% with three games remaining.
Kevin Klix and Chris Stewart both booted 4 majors in the win, however despite the final margin the game was still in the balance at half time with the Lions up by just seven points.
Eleven goals to four in the second half split the game wide open as the Lions stormed home for their 12th win of the season.
The loss keeps St Albans just percentage above Albion in eighth place ahead of their clash with Spotswood. The Lions will face Caroline Springs.
Five goals to zero in the final term helped Altona earn a hard fought 47-point win against Caroline Springs, keeping them in the race for top spot.
The Lakers started strongly and led after one, but trailed by 39 at the half. Five goals in the third cut the Vikings lead to under three majors, but a strong final quarter kept Altona on the winners list.
Patrick Rose kicked six goals in the victory, while Brett Shiels was best on ground.
Rex Hickman kicked three goals for the Lakers.

Altona will next lost third-placed Werribee Districts, in what looks to be the match of the round.
While the top five seems set, the final positions are tipped to change over the final three games of the home and away season, with the result of the Vikings, Tigers clash looking to impact both clubs top spot aspirations.
Trent Lee’s best-on five-goal performance helped the Werribee Districts to a 47-point victory against Wyndhamvale.
The Districts led at each break, but it was a seven goal to two third quarter that ended the Falcons chances, helping the premiership contenders to the 16.10. (106) to 8.11. (59) win.
Spotswood needed six goals in the last quarter to overcome a pesky Albion, 11.18. (84) to 4.17. (41).
Poor accuracy kept the Cats from a possible upset over the Woodsmen as they trailed by just nine points at the final break.
It wasn’t to be as Spotswood did enough to secure their 10th win of the season and a finals berth.
Murray Boyd kicked three goals, while Joel Mcinerney also played well.
