WRFL CLUBS SUPPORT BUSHFIRE APPEAL
Several clubs across the Western Region Football League have thrown their support behind the Bushfire Appeal following the tragic fires that have devastated parts of Victoria.
Laverton will be running a Goal-A-Thon to raise money for the CFA on Wednesday, January 22.
The challenge is to sponsor a footballer to see how many goals they can kick in eight minutes.

Braybrook will be hosting a T20 charity match on Wednesday, February 12, at Pennell Reserve with all proceeds raised donated to the Vic Bushfire Disaster Appeal.

Caroline Springs called for food donations, with community members donating items for their Food Bank Bushfire emergency food relief appeal last week.
Glen Orden held a fundraiser at their ground on Sunday, with money raised from their event donated to the CFA and Salvation Army.
Hoppers Crossing held a barbecue at Bunnings earlier this month, with the club donating $819.65 to the Bushfire Appeal.
Spotswood will be hosting a ‘Beat Down the Flames’ fundraiser on January 18. The event will see their football and netball teams go head-to-head in a netball showdown at Bryan Martin Oval. It is a gold coin donation.
The Yarraville Seddon Eagles will also donate 2% of their membership revenue for the 2020 season to the Bushfire Appeal. The club is also hoping to support a regional club who has been affected by the bushfires. More information on their fundraising efforts will be released via their social channels.
