WRFL RETURNS THIS WEEKEND
The Western Region Football League is excited to see football return this weekend after the Victorian Government announced further easing of restrictions.
While it is great news that we will be returning to the field, there are still some restrictions in place.
Please see the summary of the changes below:
- 25km travel restrictions have been lifted and people can now travel between regional Victoria and metro Melbourne.
- Metro community sport competition for seniors and juniors can resume with the minimum number of people required to participate and facilitate the activity. No more than 50 people indoors at one time.
- No spectators can attend matches this weekend.
In terms of the updated Return to Play protocols, AFL Victoria need to officially wait for the new Restricted Activity Directions (RAD) to be released on Friday by the Chief Health Officer.
