WRFL SUPPORTS SOCKIT2MND IN 2020

The Western Region Football League is proud to again be supporting FightMND’s #Sockit2MND round on June 19-21 this year.

Big Freeze socks are now available to purchase, with all profits from the sale of socks directed towards endeavours to find effective treatments and a cure for motor neurone disease.

What is Sockit2MND?

Sockit2MND is a round aimed at sporting leagues and clubs around Australia to raise funds for and awareness of MND – ‘The Beast’. It involves leagues and clubs supporting the fight against MND by pre-purchasing our iconic blue socks to wear proudly on the official round on June 20 – 21.

The aim of the SockIt2MND round is to:

  • Raise awareness of MND within your local community
  • Raise much needed funds for vital MND research
  • Show your support for those within the community who may be suffering from MND or have a connection to MND

Two Australian’s are diagnosed with MND every day. Two more will lose the fight.
