WRFL UMPIRES SELECTED FOR STATE LEAGUE
Four WRFL Umpires have graduated from the V/Line Community Umpire Talent Academy and have been selected to officiate Victorian state level in 2023.
Angus Cameron, Lachlan Smith, Shannon Van Boven and Bradley Heffernan-Benfield have been picked to officiate VFL, VFLW, NAB League Boys and Girls competitions this season.
The Community Umpire Academy provided 100 umpies the chance to officiate the best Under 15 Boys and Girls from across state last September. It was here that state league umpires scouted out the most promising umpires.
Congratulations to all four Umpires. The Western Region Football League wishes them all the best for 2023 and beyond.
